Covid Protocols and Masking

NCORE is following appropriate guidance to ensure the safety of conference participants. At present, there is not a vaccination or masking requirement to access the Oregon Convention Center or Hotel Eastlund. Please visit their sites for detailed information about their Covid safety protocols. While masking is not required at the conference, mask wearing is encouraged as we will be indoors with hundreds and at times thousands of others. Precautions are being taken by hotel staff and conference organizers. It would be wise for us to take precautions as well.

Covid Tests

Dr. Johnson and Juli Dunn have a supply of Covid tests available for Whitman delegates. Should you wish to test or are at any time during the conference experiencing Covid symptoms, please contact John or Juli to secure a Covid-test or make arrangements to get tested. All delegates are encouraged to test prior to departure for Portland to ensure the safety of their fellow passengers/travelers. Follow appropriate Whitman and Conference protocols in the event that you test positive.

Proof of Vaccination

Be sure to have proof of your Covid vaccination and booster with you. While it is not required to access the conference, there may be instances when you are expected to provide proof of vaccination. A card or photo of your card should suffice.
