Meals

Thursday and Friday the conference provides breakfast. On Thursday, there is also going to be a Whitman delegation luncheon. On Saturday there is also a conference provided lunch.

Café Eastlund, Open 7:00am-12:00pm Daily

Located on the lobby-level, Café Eastlund is open for breakfast and lunch, 7am – 12pm daily, offering coffee and espresso, grab-and-go breakfast, salads and sandwiches, cold drinks and more.

 

Per Diems

Whitman College employees will be provided with a per diem of $74/day, provided by The Division for Diversity and Inclusion. General guidelines are as follow:

  • $17 for breakfast on days when breakfast is not provided

  • $18 for lunch on days when lunch is not provided

  • $34 for dinner each day

  • $5 a day for incidentals

Expenses & Reimbursements

As with any college permitted purchase on your JPMC credit card, you will need to submit receipts to the administrator responsible for your JPMC credit card reconciliations, and they are welcome to charge these costs to GL code 1-90-42-90023.

For delegates without a college issued JPMC credit card, each individual will receive a cash advance to cover the cost of meals and incidentals. Please keep all receipts.

Submission of Receipts

Please embrace the practice of photographing receipts and retaining a digital copy. Be prepared to produce them if/when requested. Staff from The Division of Diversity and Inclusion will be following up with you on requisite post-conference paperwork, and coordinating with your administrators on reconciliation of conference expenses.
